A few weeks ago my parents brought me four bushels of fresh roasted green chili from New Mexico. It is difficult to explain how important that statement is to anyone not from New Mexico. Green chilis are religion in New Mexico and I have a firm testimony of their goodness. In an effort to be a missionary I have been recommending that green chilis be added to our ramen bowls the past few weeks. This is distinctly not Japanese, but is really really tasty. Now we are pulling out the stops: replacing the Rooster Burger with Green Chili Cheeseburgers. There may not be anything better. If you have a New Mexican friend, please let them know that the truth has arrived in Provo.
Four bushels is a lot - but they will not last forever.
P.S. I actually got five bushels but I am withholding the fifth for personal use. I may be religious about green chili, but I am also heavily addicted and only willing to share so much.
